I have over ten years’ experience helping people achieve and celebrate massive physical and mental transformations. My area of expertise is mental health. I can help break down the barriers that are stopping you from being where you want to be. Whether you want to lose 20kgs, run a half marathon or just be motivated to train, I can inspire you to fall in love with exercise and prioritise your health and wellbeing. I have a lot of experience working with older adults, pregnant clients and athletes and can adapt and tailor my training to anyone. Some of my interests outside of work include: dancing, listening to music at any opportunity possible, taking road trips and travelling. And I absolutely love anything sweet. It is all about balance. No goal is out of reach if you have the right guidance, right mindset and an action plan. Well done is better than well said - so let’s make your dreams a reality.
Coach Jess. AKA in the Wynactive circles as 'Whatshername? The one that's this big *places hand at the waist height of a child*, sticky uppy hair and tattoos?' Also AKA 'The Kettlebell One.' Geez, if I wanted to be known for one thing it would be more like 'Burger Eating Champion', 'Crazy Greyhound Lady', or 'Amazing Human/Genius' (if you understand this reference I love you, let's be friends). Greatly enjoys: food that involves cheese, The Marvel Cinematic Universe, mountains and doing things on mountains. No thank you to: staying out late, wearing make up (ick), treadmills (sorry).
I've been active my entire life, and from a very young age, my Dad instilled in me the importance of maintaining fitness as a major priority in my life. I took up netball when I was 8 years old and still play, and I also enjoyed Little Athletics in my teenage years. As a Triathlete, my passion is in building distance and in the cycling of load for endurance to achieve optimal performance. I also love to combine interval training to add variety into my training week. I have always loved sport and am a passionate Geelong Cats supporter! Shifting my career to the Fitness Industry was the greatest decision I've ever made; Coaching people to achieve their biggest Health and Fitness goals is incredibly rewarding. As a Coach, I really do love what I do!! Outside of fitness, my family and loved ones mean the world to me. I am a passionate foodie and an absolute coffee connoisseur. I love time spent outdoors and I always make the time to be active.
